| ubicado en el centro natural del barrio de palermo viejo este edificio trata de asumir preexistencias y potencialidades del entorno y sus actividades. aquí nos gustaría verificar que la forma sigue al contexto más que a la función y que la función es el evento en permanente manifestación de vida urbana pasada, presente y futura. el bar es desde hace diez años sede de la sociedad de fomento de palermo viejo y nos acompaña cotidianamente como la extensión de nuestras casas y estudio. this small building in the heart of the palermo viejo barrio tries to incorporate both preexistance and potentialities of the environment and its activities. here we would like to suggest that form follows context more than function and that, in any case, function is any action reflected in manifestations of past, present or future urban life. the bar has been for 10 years the seat of the sociedad de fomento de palermo viejo neighbourhood (n.g.o.); it also understates the noble role of being an extension of both our office and our homes. | |
