prologue to "H/R 1985/1995"Cesar Pelli, 1995.I am pleased to see an emerging argentine office like hampton / rivoira show their ideas and projects. the diversity of their buildings and proposals demonstrates that, for them, each project requires a reflection to the client, the site, tradition, culture and technology. this is a healthy and important attitude in strong contrast to those who impose their own style or prefer accepting the avantgarde as such. I hope that with new works in the future they shall continue to delight us with buildings that people enjoy. new york, june of 1995. |
